How it works

A plain way to trade local value.

Post what came from your hands. Find what someone nearby can offer. Agree on the details and meet safely.

Wooden baskets of vegetables at an outdoor farmers market

From your hands. For someone nearby.

The trade process

The first version stays simple because the point is the exchange between real people, not a complicated marketplace.

1

Create a profile

Use a display name, general area and a short note about what you make, grow, repair, teach or can do.

2

Post what comes from your hands

List what you made, grew, raised, repaired or can offer through honest work.

3

Browse local trades

Look for food, goods, tools, lessons, labor and other useful local value nearby.

4

Offer a trade

Offer something of your own instead of turning the exchange into a checkout cart.

5

Agree on details

Work out the item, service, timing, general area and what each person is responsible for.

6

Meet safely

Use common sense, avoid posting exact public addresses and choose a sensible handoff.

7

Complete the trade

Trade directly. The platform helps people connect, but it does not become part of the trade.

Keep it honest

A good trade is clear before anyone shows up. Say what you have, what you want and what condition it is in.

Be specific

Use plain details, useful photos and honest quantities.

Agree first

Make sure both sides understand the trade before meeting.

Respect the rules

Regulated goods and services must follow the laws that apply.
